My father was in the Army Air Corps during WWII and in the Air Force until he retired. My husband was in the Army (Artillery). Members of our family have served in the American military for generations. Not only am I very proud of the men and women in my family who have served, I am also deeply grateful for all American veterans who have served honorably and courageously defending our country and our freedoms.
Thank you for not only this military museum in our city, but also for housing it in the former S. Cornelia Young Memorial Library. (I'm a librarian and very much appreciate that though the historic library has closed, it is now the home of a military museum.) As for "Individual recognition on Museum Honor Wall" for Individual Lifetime membership, it would be lovely and mean a lot to me, if you would put my Dad's name (Lt. Col. Jack W. Dieterle, USAF) on the Lifetime membership Honor Wall rather than my name. Thanks, DS
